This is a story of people who lived in Hope a old apartment building. They all where given 30 days eviction notices. The plan was to gut the building and redo it to a higher class building . Currently Hope was really run down and falling apart in all the small apartments. Some lived there a long time others had to live with someone else as they had no other way to have a place to live. Each tells a story about their lives there and what they planned to do once the 30 came. Some survived some did...
Agreat compilation of short stories!I would have given this 5 stars if they were a little better written, But they were so fascinating because they were so short And to the point, With a central thing being the eviction of this hotel hope That I decided to go ahead and give you 4. I'd like more stories like this, short and sweet So to speak, But with authors who can right a good mystery Or who done it
IntriguingInteresting read, written by several authors with different points of view of the tenants of the apartment building that are being evicted. The stories are connected but can be read separately. Nice leisurely read.
Excellent read!Various author's, wrote a story about down and out people who lived in a hotel called The Hope. Really, really good!
A terrific collection of themed crime fiction stories.
Every story was well written and interesting but all in one book was a little too much. I'm guessing the Spokane Chamber of Commerce won't endorse this book but I do.
