Another reasonable issue. I wouldn’t call this amazing but it is a decent story.
This is losing my interest pretty quick, sadly. The Dent stuff is great, but the “Robin” stuff is pretty meh, and screams more 2019, than 1989.
Between this and Superman ‘78, my nostalgia buzz is getting killed. There is too much modern sensibility in this series than existed in ‘89. There is also too many leaps of faith and logic to push the series along. Maybe they should have gone for 12 issues instead of six. Couldn’t have come off any worse than the 10 wasted extra issues of Joker: Puzzlebox.
Not the best one in this series but it was alright. The universe continue to grow, Robin jump in, it was fun!
*3.5
Batman ContinuesPart four of what could have been Tim Burton's third entry in the Batman franchise, and a good one at that.

This issue captures the feel of the movie better than the previous issues thanks to Bruce's interactions with Drake. But the story seems more focused on issues of *today* (not that those don't need to be addressed) than the story that the Burton movies were telling and that ruins the nostalgia factor. Plus, how did Two Face go from having a half singed scalp to long wavy white hair? I was really looking forward to this series, but so far it's been a huge miss. At least Superman 78 is a hit.
Elements are coming together in fascinating ways, as Harvey Dent makes plans towards the future, and Winston meets with Bruce Wayne. It remains anazing to me how well Sam Hamm and Joe Quinones have captured these characters voices and physicalities, be it in the battle scenes or the smaller instances.
Not quite as amazing as previous issues, but not bad at all. A few things I really liked: the subway station split down the middle for Harvey's lair. Batman's "under the batsuit" clothing looking exactly like the action figure (I honestly don't remember if that look was in the actual movie or not). Bruce's deadpan sarcasm when talking to Drake. Speaking of, I can't believe it took me till this issue to remember what "Drake" was a reference to. And generally speaking I found Bruce a bit more inte...
