Spoilers! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ spoiler warning ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️As always, great story from M Sinclair. The characters are so great. Effie is quiet and reserved and very naive but not by choice. She was sheltered and abused her whole life, intentionally kept in the dark. I wish the mating would speed up Bc it could solve some problems but I do get that it’s slower Bc she isn’t ready. But she bit Julian without sex so it could be possible to mate now and have sex later?
I think I'm against the grain here, but not much happened in this book and it kind of just felt like filler. I found myself bored at times and skimming parts to get back to actual storyline. Ughhh, maybe my hopes were too high. Who knows.** I feel like I read a different book than everyone else with all the five stars floating around?? **
PNR RHEffie, Caedmon, Ryder, Tore, Julian, DakotaSo, we find that Effie is a lot more than she seemed at the beginning of the series. She's not just a bitten wolf female, which is already highly coveted, but much more. Her and Caedmon are trying to make their way through their own versions of PTSD, as the rest form a relationship with her. The headmaster is revealed to have major schemes and a fucked up breeding program envisioned for bitten females, because when they mate with any of the four s...
This book was a good one. I did realize during this book though why maybe i usually like to read strong female character led books. This book the main female character is very dismissive and is very negative towards herself. Since she is very negative towards herself she is constantly doubting herself and there for doubting how her guys feel about her. Since she doubts herself i feel that is why more smut hasn’t happened in the book. The previous series i read in the kingdom of wolves had a ton
Overall a nice light read, although I wish a tad more had happened. Cursing the cliff-hanger and the fact that book three isn't out yet!Acquired via KU.
Great 2nd book, worth the wait Lately, its been hard to read some of the sequel books when there's such a long wait between books. I forget the storyline (hint hint for authors, I love recaps) or lose interest after so long. I know I really enjoyed book 1, but apparently I forgot to review it.Anyway, I have been waiting for ages for book 2, so I was excited it finally came out, but also wary. Anyway, no need for concern, I loved this book, and it didn't take me too long to recall the storyline.
If it's one thing Ms. Sinclair can guarantee always deliver on is a solid group of Hs who are always possessive, protective and adore the h. I think her story telling has improved from her earlier series, especially in her Wildberry Lane and this series. They are less formulaic and not so much filler just to drag out a series as I felt with the Descendant and even Reborn series. Effie is a really sweet character and we get a little more insight as far as her shifter status. There's a little more...
5/5⭐M. Sinclair is back at it again with the 5-star reads! I thought nothing could top my love for the first book, but boy was I wrong! I absolutely adored this book you guys. Effie is back as our loveable (and slightly naive) FMC, along with her swoon worthy harem of shifter men. The plot starts to really thicken as Ryder confirms our suspicions that Effy is the just bitten wolf shifter we thought she was. Caedmon still has my heart and I can't think of a single thing I WOULDN'T do for him🥺 I'd...
Love love love Effie and her mates! They are all so broken but trying so hard to form connections with her. It’s a beautiful series to read. At the end of the last book, Effie found out that she was purchased from her pack to be a breeder. As she tries to come to terms with the fact that she shouldn’t be there, she is also learning to gain some confidence in herself. She still misreads situations constantly, but she has learned now to speak her concerns. I love seeing all the progress she is mak...
More!M. Sinclair, I NEED MORE PLEASE! I'm so freaking in love with this book series and I need book 3 like ASAP!This book left off on a serious cliffhanger.. OMG! I'm in a book hangover..😭😭😵😵Overall Rating:5* ~ Dayum It's Good!
Finished this in a few hours!Once I picked this book up, I couldn't put it down. M. Sinclair has ensnared me in her Silver Falls world. I am ready for the next now! Hopefully the tension is solved in book 3, because whew.
That felt so short. It was kinda disappointing.
At first I was content with the lack of plot, but there comes a point where the meandering gets old and even the unfinished homework starts to look real appealing. That's when you know something is wrong. I just think this book could've used more balance.
WOW... so much to like in this series. I am diving straight into book 3
3,5 starsOverall a great read, i usually like m sinclair´s books so no surprise there. But this one is not the best series she has written, but still good. I do like the heroin Effie, i loved that the guys where overprotective she deserves some loving and caring after how she grew up. Everything she thought was right was wrong, her thinking is twisted not like that but she is thinking they don´t like her for being her, a bitten wolf cuz in her previous pack she got abused cuz of being a bitten w...
What a great continuation from book 1!I love this dynamic and I love how we find out much more about Effie and that she isn’t just a bitten wolf. We see more of her dreams/memories come forward and we see her getting closer to all 5 of her Alphas.More problems seem to arise because the president of the university is a total douche bag but there is also a bigger problem surrounding bitten wolves which I hope we will see resolved.I can’t wait to find out effies life prior to being bitten as she is...
❤️I love that M Sinclair always puts you right back into the action when starting the next book. So, when it starts right off after Effie was rescued from the icecaps, it doesn’t feel like any time has passed. It dives right back into the tension between her and her mates and the bonds some of them are trying to deny. Add in some problems with other blood bonded packs that are sniffing around and some unexpected trouble with her friends, and you have an exciting continuation. I’m really liking
Oh wowsers what an amazing continuation of this series! This is the second book in this shared world following on from "Lost". Effie was starting to realise that everything she was told was a lie with the help of her "flatmates" in the first book. This book continues the theme of discovery and examines the growing relationships between her and the boys. The hurdles each one has to overcome as they all have issues of some sort. Effie is very insecure and afraid due to her past and its fantastic wa...
This book has me hooked and I’m so sad it ended! I need book 3 now…Sinclair, what are you doing to me?? I loved the set up of this storyline the moment I read book 1. I knew I was going to be hooked but the way Sinclair has continued to develop the plot and the characters through this book is addictive. This is probably her best story yet. We get some mysteries revealed in this book in regards to Effie and her identity, we see connections strengthen with her mates, we also see more development i...
