What an amazing and inspiring collection of poems. I have made a discovery of my poets familiar and unfamiliar who are all extremely gifted. This is a tribute to the English language and poetry. Derek Mahon (Life on Earth) is a wonderful poet that I have just discovered. I am drawn to his work, his ideas inspire me as both a writer and a reader. His "Art Notes"- using Edward Hopper, Rene Magritte and Maurice Wilkins are phenomenal. A small sample from (1) The Lighthouse In Maine (Edward Hopper)
