I’ve been wanting to read a book by Lydia Kang, and I finally did! The Half-Life of Ruby Fielding is an entertaining historical mystery. What did I just read? So boring, so repetitive, so lacking in depth of character or a real plot. I really enjoyed her other book, but this was just not good, unfortunately.
