Exciting Book!Exciting book full of twists and turns, and topped off with a light romance. Read it, you will enjoy very much.
Basically a romance novel with a mystery background. Good writing and interesting creatures. Enjoy..
such a good bookThis author continues to amaze me with her ability with the written word. Here’s another story of mystery upon mystery, death, and redemption. Another must read.
Alright, I'm going with 3.5 stars - the book definitely redeemed itself after a rocky start with an overly-aggressive and irresponsible main character. She was pretty bad at the beginning, but she soon got her shit together and was much improved for the rest of the book. The villain was fairly obvious from the beginning, though the hints (view spoiler)[ The gender of the killer not being revealed; the lack of open suspicion placed on the killer; the reminders of the killer's relationship to the v...
Dark WaterEach book I read by this author is a a bit different. A lot more intense. As good if not better than the last. She has a compelling way of putting a story to pen. Off to find the next one!
I liked this book. I really would give it a 3.5 star rating. It was easy to read and the story had good flow to it. It wasn't as much of a thriller as I had hoped it would be as I have read from her in the past. Still a good decent murder-mystery read.

DNF.Woof. The creep factor with Tony was immediately astounding. What guy remembers a ten year old girl from a house he used to mow law at when he was 16 and think, ‘huh, she’s coming back to claim her father’s body. I wonder what she looks like now?’ then proceeds to go whisk her away spontaneously and take her to his summer home to stay!?What heroine who hates everyone in her hometown, believes her father’s murderer is someone in town just gets into a flashy car of a stranger’s and then swoons...
Picked it up, couldn't put it down, read well past midnight! I found the characters particulalry interesting. There was also a really fast movement to the narrative. Love when a book sucks me in.
Revenge is best served cold.I usually enjoy Sharon Sala whenever I read one of her books. But this one, really threw me for a loop. The story was hard hitting and exposed the worse aspects of a small minded town and the consequences. Sarah Jane Whitman returns to her hometown when reports of her father's body has been found in Flagstaff Lake in Marmet, Maine. This starts a wild ride for Sarah Jane and her newly found friend, Tony aka Silk. This is a great way to spend the day. You might need 1 h...
Sarah had been happy but living under the cloud of her fathers supposed theft of money from the bank he had managed. Then she got the call from the sheriff back in Maine where they had lived. Her fathers body had been found in a trunk at the bottom of the lake.Returning there she wasn’t prepared for no answers from anyone, all the townspeople still blamed her father, she blamed them for her mothers eventual suicide over their cutting her off from clubs she loved and had been a member of.Then she
