Unique lead character, unique abilities.Set in the current time with a hero who is a young man. Who reaps what he sews. Highly reccomended. Looking forward to further book. Should be read as part of evolving story not stand alone.
Good story!Exciting, good detective story that I could follow. Stone's gifts with the portals ability to drain bank accounts means he really doesn't have to work at all. There's A lot of crooks out there. We elect a bunch of them.
fun seriesReally loved the story. Well paced, entertaining and interesting premise. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good paranormal storyline.
Nice read, only problem too shortGood continuation of the characters which made it a fun read. Please send more as soon as possible. Thank you
A lot of the book was Matthew using his portal to track various items and people and then explaining it all again to Emily. I found this a bit boring and much preferred when they were interacting with other people. I was also pleased there wasn’t so much of the ‘spoilt rich kids’ in this book and when Emily does flash her Platinum Credit Card at least is to help with the investigation.
The Stone series rocks! Pun intended. ;)I just finished reading this highly enjoyable series of books. The main character, Matthew, was great and was very clever & smart in experimenting with & in testing his magic stone. I also found it very interesting how he kept coming up with new uses for his magic stone, all of which ended up helping other people eventually. I highly recommend this entire series & really hope that the author, Bob Blanton, continues adding new books to this series! Read thi...
Another Good ReadThis is a fund series, though I am tired of Matt's girlfriend, Brea. She has her own life and that is fine, but she is subtly presented as just too self-centered. Still this is an easy afternoon read, and very enjoyable.
Fantastic This was a really fun book to read. Had me at the edge of my seat all the time. Now 1am in the morning and just need to come down off all the excitement!
Page turnerHope we get to see more of Matt and Emily. They are like 21st century Hardy boys with terrific intricate plots.
No where near as good as the previous three in this series.
Stone Investigations: book 4This series is not a fast action book. It does have really nice action scenes scattered throughout the book so it is not slow. What the book does extremely well is get you involved I’m the life of the characters and their adventures. Great series
Senior School Paper ReportersThis story of a kid getting EL D portal powers and one of his girlfriend convince him to take journalism. They uncover a oxy drug ring and end up helping a DEA agent.
Enjoyable read.
OkayOverall, but the story seems a bit stagnant with this last book. Still very simple and straightforward, and still a fun read. If food, it’d be gas station food.
Good storyA few typos and an error on transponders. Jets are always on Mode C which displays altitude and speed and is assigned by ATC. 4 knobs on a black box. 0-7. VFR 1200, hijacking7500 etc. to swap codes with another aircraft would be spotted by ATC immediately because of direction and altitude. Planes are not allowed to fly close together except for military. Still an interesting story with enough sarcasm and humor
Good story!Fast moving, good characters, nice action. The author used and described the people well. Matt seems to have a lot of money and for someone who has been poor, that's one less worry.
Good but spends too much time on high activities instead of using the stone. Gets better towards the end.
Awesome! The fourth book in the Stone Series is just as incredible as the last 3! Awesome characters, incredible story, it was worth the wait! Now I want the next one!
