Book 2 in this series, but can be read as a stand-alone book. I like the characters, love the setting and the descriptions of Tuscany, the food and the wine. Will be picking up more books in this series over time.
What a fun read!!I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There was so much to learn, about Italy, the wine business, but the story moved along quickly and with great detail. I'm looking forward to the next one!
AwesomeThe author, Ms. Fiona Grace, has produced a brilliant cozy mystery. The story was slow in the beginning but gained super momentum and kept me excited and guessing until the climax. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep the readers thoroughly engrossed. I lovedboth the books in this series. Olivia Glass has recently purchased a new farmhouse in Italy for growing her own vineyard as wine making business has been her long cherished dream. She and her best friend, Charlotte visit her f...
Love the story, love the characters and the location. I've always loved stories in different locations. The only thing I found a little frustrating is that the reader is not given all the information to solve the mystery. Only after she reveals the truth are you able to follow the logic and figure it all out... I like to be following along and figuring it out as I go, even if I'm wrong. but I can't do it without all the information.
Enjoyable mysteryEnjoyable reading and colorful characters in Tuscany Also, some humor and a pet goat. A slow first half though is my only concern.
a fun read based in a wineryThis is the second book in the series and I enjoyed it as much as the first. Stories that are based wineries or have a strange nag wine background are some of my favorites. The winery has an outbreak of a virus that causes the corked taste in wines. While not harmful it ruins the wine. After just having bought an additional winery this leaves them strapped for cash so they auction off a rare bottle from the winery. The winning bidder is found murdered the next day. No...
Loved the trip to ItalyThis is a light mystery, which I enjoyed. Years ago I had wanted to live in the lovely farm land of Italy. Grow a field of wine grapes and have my own label. This story gave me my fantasy.
This is the second book in the series. I'm enjoying watching Olivia get comfortable in her new surroundings. This is a light read. The only thing was the silliness at the end with the goat. I know it's unbelievable, but hey it's a cozy and fiction in a world that's full of stress.
Wine making and murderAnother entertaining murder mystery in Italian wine country. This is an enjoyable series about a transplanted Chicago ad exec who goes to Tuscany for a vacation and winds up staying; only to encounter murder! The heroine is a bit of a ditz but this is an easy read series that I recommend.
A rather delightful cozy mystery. Can’t wait to read more in this series.
Olivia left her life behind, bought a ramshakle house in Tuscany--and has decided that she wants to have a vineyard. Her friend is visiting for a while and is helping her get the house ready to live in. One major problem-Olivia is petrified of spiders-luckily her friend isn't. You will laugh when you read what she did to avoid one. She has a pet goat who follows her everywhere and at times can be a bit of a troublemaker. A cat has also semi adopted her--for food anyway. There is this real handso...
