Happy February! It’s been a chilly winter here in the travelers lounge and your editors are already dreaming of spring. Aimee’s been shoveling snow every day in Wisconsin while Bennett wonders if Boston will ever get anything but cold rain again.

We have a fantastic group of fourteen stories for you in this issue. Our stories run the gamut from inherited mermaids to fairytale ancestors; charmed lipstick to magic cheese puffs; octopus larceny to pastry law enforcement. We have daughters who are fated to die and brothers fated not to; an enchantress who runs a castle and a princess who wants to be king; a lovable hellhound and a shapeshifting cat. We have a former supervillain’s recording studio and the Dark Lord’s call center.
