AmazingAmazing period. Seriously amazing. Just a wonderful read and an adventure unlike any I've read in a while. Can't get enough.
And so, with a happy heart I return to the world of Tallerman's Black River Academy. As you may know by now The Academy is the place would be Dungeoneers and Questers go to learn their craft (well, let's be fair, D+D can be a very risky pursuit so it's good to get your necessary skills learnt and honed beforehand rather than just blundering in with a rusty poker that might, just might, one day turn into Excalibur)Anyhoo, EotO sees our heroes from the previous books, Durren, Tia, Arein and Hule
Amazing as alwaysMan I love reliving my days of D/D with this series. Although they do Damon well for a group of third levels. So ready for the next bok!!
Good bookStoryline was good and characters are still consistent. The main character’s constant doubt is a downer and the final battle was anticlimactic. Otherwise it would have been great. I like what I am getting in this series and will continue to support it.
Really enjoyed the Black River ChroniclesThe troop or party of characters in Black River Chronicles have turned into a real teamEnjoying their interaction and the quests they are going on and succeeding onPlus how their adversaries either stop attacking or actually help them on occasion Looking forward to the next book
WARNING: This book contains a terrible Oscar Wilde pun. Read with this caution in mind. That aside, this is my favourite in the series so far - mystery, intrigue, goblins, magic, teenage awkwardness, goblins, giant eyeballs, goblins, rat people and goblins.Did I mention that there are goblins in this? It sets up the next book nicely, which I'm looking forward to in case there are more goblins.
Thank you for another installment into your world David Tallerman. I look forward to another adventure!
