Every day, Daman wakes up from the same nightmare: a strange, mysterious girl driving him to his death. And just as the car crashes, he wakes up and she disappears, leaving behind only the memory of her long, black hair and a name—Shreyasi. In order to deal with his nightmares, Daman starts writing stories featuring Shreyasi. Then one day, Shreyasi decides to step out into the real world.

Daman may have got a significant advance for his first-ever book deal but it was no huge amount. Between buying a car, moving out of his parents' home and quitting his day job, Daman is soon going to be penniless and unless he decides to do something about it, things are only going to get worse. It also doesn't help that Shreyasi's presence in his life is not only affecting his relationship with Avni but his attempts at writing too. Can he find a way out of this mess?
