This was a horror story with an Lovecraftian flavor. The art was phenomenal!
This is a wild series, definitely enjoyable! Creepy bugs and occult themes make this strange series so believeable.
How do you stop an endless cycle of birth, death, rebirth, betrayal, sacrifice, birth....Don’t expect happy to ndinga fom Cullen Bunn.I’ll be over here with my teddy bear
The series ended in a way I wasn’t expecting and honestly was better than I thought it would be. Pleasant surprise of a series. I thought it was mostly okay through most of it, but this final volume really makes up for it.
Regression Vol 3 This story or rather a book is well written and has all the qualities to be called a horror story.I don't know about anyone else but for me, this book definitely grabbed my attention from the outset up until the end, and that's what a horror story should do to a reader. The character names are complex to be honest, but characterization was well developed and a reader can easily identify characters and their role in the story. This is a book I'd definitely recommend to any horror f...
Another great addition to the Regression comic. I hope Cullen Bunn has more instore for us.
Interesting!! What an intriguing ending, that left me feeling both satisfied and like I had a few lingering questions to mull over. Cults, huh…”No one wants absolution. They want to do whatever they like and never be blamed.”Adrian’s complex role in all of this comes a head here and I finally feel like I have a good grasp on the what-is-past and what-is-now and what-is-future. When you first start reading this series, it can be a little intense holding all the concepts in one frame. Lots of char...
I kind of figured this whole series was going to be a 3 star read across the bar but I did end up bumping the final volume up a star for the excellent story work and the really cool time jumps. At the beginning of the first volume I started to get a little lost but the book ended up finishing really cleanly. This is my second run that I have read by Bunn and I am eager to pick up more from him!
I really dont know what I just read... One day i have to re read this series back to back. I love the art style though, omg.
4 stars is a little generous probably. It a good book. Awesome premise. Great story. Great art. It lacks something though. I'm not sure what it is but it should have been more compelling. Maybe the storyline was too jumpy? I don't know. But overall still worth the read. 4 stars.
Awful and gross series, don't read it.Individual issue reviews: #11 | #12 | #13 | #14 | #15Total review score: 1.7
Strange little series...
The ending doesn't make much sense, but that's horror for you. It is drenched in blood and swallowed up by the insects that were the leitmotif of this story. The trip is pretty enjoyable, though, and well worth reading by horror fans. The Valgeroti rejoice at Gregory's return to them and at his blessing. He is their true leader. After being hypnotised Anton has come into contact with his own past life, that of Alban Comstock, the man who had Temperance and her acolytes hanged. He and her apprenti...
