Geraci builds on the realistic and rough world inhabited by the most bad-ass rock band you've never heard of, The Demands. You will find yourself catching a case of the feels for each of the enigmatic members and rooting for them to triumph on and off the stage. Very much looking forward to the upcoming third book of the series.
No Sophomore slump here. Drew Geraci came out of the gate strong with the first The Demands book and he not only shows it wasn't a fluke but he gets better. His story continues to feel genuine. But a story is only as good as it's protagonist. Laney Kilburn is easy to root for as she navigates the underbelly and dark waters of the indie music scene to achieve her dream.
You know that line in Social Distortion’s ‘Story of My Life’ that goes “and in class I dreamed all day, about a rock 'n' roll weekend”? Yeah, that pretty much sums up book two for me, Drew Geraci hit another homerun with this one! The author is a natural born storyteller his characters are relatable the story is believable & the flow is perfect. Book one was good, book two is great and I cannot even imagine how awesome book three will be. Give it as read from the beginning and you’ll be hooked,
