As with the Rebirth issue, this was surprisingly good. I don't think I need to keep getting it as single issues, but I'll definitely be picking it up in trades. Good, fun stuff.
Really surprised by how much I'm enjoying this series. Almost makes up for how the main Batman book is now.http://pop-break.com/2016/08/10/revie...
Really excellent writing.Love the flashbacks.I see a incredible amount of potential here.
absolutely loved this retake on the 2011 series of Red Hood and The Outlaws and instead of having Roy Harper as Arsenal and Koriandri as Starfire this revamped version introduces a fallen amazon named Artemis and a superman clone named Bizarro who team up with the rebel robin now Red Hood definitely worth collecting this series.
Off to a good start. It looks like an odd assortment of Outlaws to work with Jason, but Scott is building the story slowly. A surprise choice for me to pick this title but I like this Outlaw approach.
The artwork is awesome, even crimeboss!BlackMask looks really hot, will look forward for the next volume.Short review for Annual #3 https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...Batman: Under the Red Hood review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Easily one of the best rebirth series, the tone and artwork are setting the bench mark for the rebirth.
Actual rating: 4.75 stars.Better than the Rebirth one-shot. The only thing I know about a DC Artemis is from the Young Justice cartoon. Has she always been an Amazon? I hope they go into her more later on in this run.
As I said before it's another book that I got delayed to read , I am starting to consider buying kindle editions from next week , which is not only cheaper but also quicker . We'll see what happens Meanwhile Red Hood & the outlaws continues it's brilliant work right where it left off in the last edition as Jason manages to infiltrate into the Black Mask's gang and is revealed that Black Mask plans to make him his Heir . Much to Jason's and the readers disappointment however the Black Mask doesn'...
There isn't much action in this one. The one-shot set up Black Mask as the main villain for the beginning story arc. We get to see him a little here. Red hood is trying to go undercover into Black Mask's operation. Of course, he succeeds. Not really much else happens other than Red Hood runs into someone he knew when he was a child. Since this is the first issue of the series, I didn't expect a whole lot from it other than to lay some ground work. I like how it is starting off, but there is so l...
Again...it would be great if the "and the Outlaws" part could kick in at some point.Any time now.
Not much action, more on story and character build up but as always, this is good and I see a lot of potential for the next issues to come.
Never enter a room without knowing the way out.-Batman/Bruce Wayne
Red plays a double agent with the Black Mask
Art: 4Story: 4Action: 3A good start to this series.
has a sort of classic gritty feel to it; the kind of thing you feel slightly cooler for having picked up and read even though you kind of have no idea what just happened and you're not sure you care enough to keep going. the whole 'red hood and the outlaws' team-up + n52 / rebirth thing confuses me a little, so i guess in this iteration of it we have artemis? cool?coloring was nice and clean, art was great in some parts and merely serviceable in others. the one thing that stood out to me was the...
The art and pacing are really good, snd the story has me interested. I'm just not sure yet if Jason is a character I want to read about after the three jokers ^^;;
jason and artemis are my bisexuality
