Joachim Heijndermans is a freelance writer and artist currently living in the Netherlands. His work has previously been published in Nebula Rift, and he is currently writing and illustrating his first children's book.

Charles Hayes is an American who lives part-time in the Philippines and part-time in Seattle with his wife. His writing interests center on the stripped-down stories of those recognized as being on the fringe of their culture. Asian culture, its unique facets, and its intersection with general American culture are of particular interest to him, as are the mountain cultures of Appalachia.
