This is the story of my life, from the age of four, growing up in Morocco during the tumultuous 1950's and ending up in the United States of America -- "the greatest country on this globe."
The journey from Casablanca to Boston was a dream that spanned almost ten years to accomplish. With all the obstacles my parents encountered, they never gave up to pursue their vision to create a better life for their two sons.
The drastic contrast of being on the edge of annihilation in Africa to the limitless potential for success in the United States was stunning.
In the end it was my brother Patrick and I who really embraced all that our "new home" had to offer and for that we are so grateful.
