Where the Lotus Blooms is an insightful guide for all of us on a spiritual journey. Sharon Cormier has been practicing yoga and meditation for years and both are a way of life for her. Using examples of how she has applied the principles of yoga and Buddhism to her own life experiences, she wrote this book to, “shine some light and perhaps provide a shortcut for fellow companions on their spiritual pathway.” She tells us, “Enlightenment is for all of us, not a special few. It is our birthright as a human being, to open our heart and mind to the knowledge of All-There-Is.” This book will help readers to and their natural state of inner peace by learning to recognize the core of strength, wisdom and love that lies within each of us.

“We are all seekers whether we know it or not. Each of us is looking to ÿnd happiness and inner peace.” —From Where the Lotus Blooms

“Sharon gives us the truest explanation of yoga we have read. She shows us how yoga, meaning union, actually looks and feels. And in this deep writing of how the human spirit can bounce back, we may get an Aha experience, which we certainly did. Whether we call it our Soul, Child Within, or Sharon’s name for it, our True Nature, this is the vital life force within.”
—From the Foreword by Charles Whitfield, MD and Barbara Harris Whitfield

Sharon Cormier is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She is also an Advanced Reiki Practitioner, poet, meditation teacher, inventor, gemologist, and eternal student. She spends much of her energy developing new ways to apply yoga and Buddhist philosophy to her own life and sharing this knowledge with others in workshops and classes.
