Teresa Dovalpage was born in Havana and now lives in Taos, New Mexico. She is the author of eight novels, six in Spanish and two in English , two collections of short stories in Spanish and one in English. She has a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature and currently teaches at UNM Taos. She also writes two weekly columns and freelances for the local newspaper, Taos News. Visit her blog in English
