This is a great book. I do not understand why he only wrote two books for Black Library. So far this one was a great novel with good characters. We get war, espionage, history and plenty more. It good. The second book is called Mark Of Heresy and it was the last book. Amazon says there is a third called Mark of Mutation but the book was never published. If the second book is as good as this one I can't understant why.In this book we have only one main character called Karl Hoche first a army off...
This was pretty good and rather annoying for the same reason; the constant plot-twists were interesting, but going back and forth between who the protagonist could (or could not) trust got a little wearisome.
Un "classico" del mondo di Warhammer: cosa accade a un normale cavaliere umano, quando il Caos stende la sua multiforme mano su di lui?
Effortless joy of a read for dark fantasy fans. Part hardboiled detective novel, part grimdark coming of age where the protagonist is put through *a lot* in 280 pages to come out the word- & ruthless character you see on Warhammer covers. With Mark of Damnnation, James Wallis, he of Bizarre magazine fame, has a pretty decent stab at it, and provides a broody, fast paced, character driven effort, that for me, ranks amongst the best of
Well rounded story. One of the better Warhammer books I've read.
Marks of Chaos is a print-on-demand book available from the Black Library. It's also the first Warhammer novel I bought online. It comprises of two novels, Mark of Heresy and Mark of Damnation, as well as two short stories, No Rest for the Wicked and A Night Too Long. The sole reason for me buying this is because I have long admired the author, James Wallis, for his work in the games industry. I was a big fan of his old company's (Hogshead Publishing) output for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay as well...
