I think I'm a country mouse.
I loved this book because of the tips and suggestions at the back of the book. There are pages to guide in teaching your child or class about the virtues in the story. By talking about the story and its message and engaging in the activities, it can help children develop good judgment and a strong moral character.
Eli payed partial attention and wanted to get up and play before I was halfway through the last page.
Beautiful illustrations by Dennis Hockerman, interesting re-telling, but I kept wondering why there were only dogs & cats in the city & not in the country!
